Mary Hamilton is the latest Orange County resident to sue Allstate for not paying a claim following Hurricane Rita. The plaintiff said the company did not pay the full amount for wind and water damage. She is seeking damages for repairs and mental anguish.

Fred Bozeman vs. Wilmer Crane et al
PA -- Stephen Williams, J -- Buddy Hahn
The driver of a restored classic car filed a lawsuit against the driver and owner of a vehicle that caused injuries to himself - and to his car. Fred Bozeman filed a personal injury suit against Wilmer Crane, the driver, and Jody Boone, the owner for an April 2005 collision. The plaintiff is seeking damages in excess of $50,000.

Percy Flannigan vs. Ace Hardware et al
PA -- Jane Leger, J -- pending
Percy Flannigan was operating an electric auger when he received an electrical shock. The plaintiff says he remained seized in the electrical shock until his wife unplugged the machine. He filed a lawsuit against Ace Hardware, the company who rented him the tool, and General Wire Spring, the company that manufactured it.
