Suit blames fall on trailer's faulty floor

GALVESTON - A Dickinson man says he required surgery after he fell in a work trailer and is suing the trailer's owner and the agents who sent it to him.

Charles Vastine's suit against Pac-Van Inc. and Lee Strube and Tanya Koch of Forth Worth attributes the plaintiff's alleged fall on May 28, 2009, to the condition of the trailer's flooring.

The original complaint was filed May 28 in Galveston County District Court.

Vastine asserts that Strube and Koch inspected the trailer and deemed it suitable to be used though it was in a state of disrepair.

Criaco & Associates is representing the plaintiff, and Galveston County 405th District Court Judge Wayne Mallia is presiding over the case.

Case No. 10-cv-1500
