Recent patent infringement cases filed in the Eastern District of Texas

  • Traffic Information v. ASUS Computer International

    Traffic Information is a Texas limited liability company.

    The defendant is accused of infringing on U.S. Patent No. 6,466,862 issued Oct. 15, 2002, for System for Providing Traffic Information.

    Traffic Information is asking the court to issue an injunction preventing the defendant from further acts of infringement and for an award of damages, interest, court costs and attorney's fees.

    The plaintiff is asking the court for a permanent injunction to prevent the defendant from further infringement and for an award of damages, interest, costs, attorney's fees and interest.

    A jury trial is requested.
