Suit over failed repairs to vintage truck filed

1966 1977 ford bronco 6

GALVESTON - Frank J. Guerrini has filed suit against All Points Collision Center LLC and its proprietor Jerrold L. Graham Jr. on claims of "wrongful acts" in the repair and renovation of his vintage vehicle.

Court papers submitted Oct. 4 in Galveston County Court at Law No. 2 accuse the defendants of failing to work on a 1969 Ford Bronco belonging to Guerrini.

The parties executed a service contract on March 26, 2011, which called on the respondents "to take over all repairs and renovation" of the Bronco.

A warranty on all work performed accompanied the agreement.

Guerrini says he wrote the defendants checks totaling $10,500 over the next two months, however, "work on the renovation was slow at best."

According to the original petition, the project had "completely" stopped by September.

It further shows the defendants continuously guaranteed that the aforementioned work would be complete no later than October, but "these promises and representations never were carried out."

"After ten months of renovations very little was completed," the suit says.

"To this day, the renovation has not been completed."

Guerrini adds the ordeal in question inflicted "extreme" emotion distress upon him, stating it "has been a substantial disruption to [his] daily life."

A jury trial is requested.

Attorney Wilbur H. Dunten with the Dunten Law Firm in Dickinson is representing the plaintiff, and Galveston County Court at Law No. 2 Judge Barbara Roberts is presiding over the case.
