PepsiCo named in lawsuit after vehicle collision

A man is suing PepsiCo after he is involved in an accident with one of its employees.

Earl Trahan filed a lawsuit in October against Johnny Limbrick, New Bern Transportation Corp. and Pepsico Inc. in the District Court of Jefferson County 136th judicial district, citing negligence.

According to the complaint, on March 4, Trahan and Limbrick were involved in a motor vehicle collision on Highway 87 South and Interstate 10 East in Orange County. At the time of the crash, Limbrick was working in the scope of his employment with New Bern Transport and PepsiCo Inc.

Trahan is seeking damages in excess of $200,000 and less than $1,000,000. He is being represented in the case by attorney Paul F. Ferguson Jr. of Provost Umphrey Law Firm LLP.
