A woman is suing two drivers after they allegedly collided with her vehicle on the interstate.
Angela Dodson filed a lawsuit Nov. 13 in the District Court of Jefferson County against Theresa Babineaux, Gary Arnold and BCP Tanklines Inc., citing negligence.
According to the complaint, on June 27, Dodson was traveling on Interstate 10 in Jefferson County. The complaint states that Arnold was driving a vehicle in his employment with BCP Tanklines.
According to Dodson, while she was driving, Babineaux and Arnold's vehicles collided with one another causing Babineux's vehicle to hit Dodson's vehicle.
Dodson says that the defendant's negligence in the collision caused her injuries.
Dodson is seeking damages between $200,000 and $1,000,000.
She is being represented in the case by Zona Jones of the Provost Umphrey Law Firm LLP.
The case has been assigned to Judge Donald Floyd, 172nd District Court.
