Bobby Walker filed a sexual harassment suit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas on Jan. 14, naming Allegiance Crane and Equipment LLC as the sole defendant.
According to the suit, Walker was employed by Allegiance as a crane operator starting in April 2012. Walker claims he was subjected to sexual harassment at work and when he informed the relevant authorities at Allegiance, they did nothing.
Walker alleges he witnessed one of his managers and another employee in a sexually suggestive position, and another employee walking around the remote job site in his underwear.
Walker also claims that when he was on break at a job site, his supervisor dragged his penis across Walker's shoulder.
Walker and another employee allegedly filed complaints with Allegiance's Office of Human Resources following the aforementioned incidents. After he filed his complaint, Walker claims Allegiance took no remedial action. Instead, Walker claims he was given fewer hours at work until he was forced to quit.
Walker is suing for sex based employment discrimination.
He is seeking an undisclosed amount in damages and is being represented by attorney Philip J. Orth III.
