A Jefferson County couple is suing, alleging the husband was involved in a car accident and sustained injuries.
Nathan Jerryd Sims and Stormi Sims filed a lawsuit May 1 in the Jefferson County Court against Anthony Wayne Jones and Vanessa LeBlanc.
The complaint states on April 4, 2012, Nathan Sims was driving south in the 3900 block of Avalon Ave. in Port Arthur when Jones struck the plaintiff, causing injuries and damages. At the time of the accident, Jones was operating LeBlanc's vehicle without a valid driver's license, according to the complaint. Stormi Sims alleges she has sustained loss of consortium from the accident.
The plaintiffs are seeking an undisclosed amount in damages.
The Sims are being represented in the case by Gordon D. Friesz of McPherson Hughes Bradley Wimberley Steele & Chatelain LLP.
