A Galveston County business is filing for a temporary restraining order to stop the construction of a home it's invested in.
Stoneray Builders LLC filed a temporary restraining order on May 14 in the Galveston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Jay Gazzier and Logan Laviolette.
Stoneray Builders claims it agreed to partner with the defendants in order to construct an investment home at 425 Amanda Circle on Tiki Island, claiming they would share all costs in the project.
The suit alleges the defendants, who have no experience in building homes, wrongfully locked Stoneray Builders out of the project, have refused to pay subcontractors who worked on the project and are wasting money re-doing work.
Stoneray Builders is seeking a restraining order to halt all construction on the home to prevent waste and expenses for court costs.
It is being represented in the case by League City attorneys Wayne D. Collins and Shana O'Neal of Collins O'Neal PLLC.
