A Texas man is suing over claims a 2007 loan has not been paid back.
John J. "Chip" Thiel filed a lawsuit June 5 in the Galveston County District Court against Nessie Ludlow, citing breach of contract.
According to the complaint, Thiel loaned Ludlow $50,000, with interest, in 2007, but Ludlow has only repaid $12,500 of the loan. Ludlow is accused of breach of contract and unjust enrichment.
Thiel is seeking the $37,500, plus interest and attorney's fees.
He is being represented in the case by attorneys Roger G. Jain and Thomas H. Smith III of Roger G. Jain & Associates PC in Houston.
