Capt. John sued after boat passenger injured in Galveston Bay

A Texas man is suing over claims he was injured on a boat in Galveston Bay.


Salvador Avendano Perez filed a lawsuit June 9 in the Galveston County District Court against Williams Boat Service LLC, doing business as Capt. John, Williams Party Boats Inc., doing business as Capt. John, M/V Capt. John and Johnny A. Williams, individually and doing business as Capt. John, citing negligence.



According to the complaint, Perez was on the M/V Capt. John, a boat owned and operated by the defendants, in Galveston Bay on June 10, 2012, when the negligence of the defendants caused injury to the plaintiff.


Perez is seeking more than $250,000 in damages.


He is being represented in the case by attorney Herbert A. Janzen of Law Offices of Herbert A. Janzen in Houston.
