Harris County woman sued over Gulf Drive property

Title deeds

A Harris County man is suing over claims a property he has interest in has been taken by a woman at the end of their relationship.

Charles A. Watson filed a lawsuit June 13 in the Galveston County District Court against Tiffanie L. Purvis.

According to the complaint, Watson and Purvis had a personal relationship until February, when Purvis locked Watson out of various properties he had previously occupied and had interest in.

Watson says they had a jointly executed lien note for a property on Gulf Drive in Galveston, a property in which Lance Provost also has an interest due to a joint venture.

The complaint says Watson and Provost have both been denied enjoyment of the property.

Watson is seeking judgement as to his rights regarding the property, attorney's fees and the partition or sale of the property.

Watson is appearing pro se.
