A Houston resident is suing over claims she sustained injuries after an automobile accident in Kemah.

Estefana Medrano filed a lawsuit June 17 in the Galveston County District Court against Steven Edward Zimmerman and Karen Zimmerman, citing negligence.  Medrano claims she suffered injuries when her vehicle was struck while traveling west on FM 2094 in Kemah, causing her injuries. According to the brief, Edward Zimmerman failed to apply the brakes, failed to maintain a proper lookout and failed to yield the right-of-way as he attempted to make a turn into a parking lot and violently struck Medrano's vehicle. The suit alleges Medrano suffered physical pain, loss of earnings, disfigurement, physical impairment and medical care expenses.

Medrano is seeking damages in accordance with the evidence and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Houston attorney P. Andrew Wilbur Jr. of Jim S. Adler and Associates.
