A Jefferson County man is suing over claims he was injured in a collision in Beaumont.
Dwayne E. Colone filed a lawsuit June 18 in the Jefferson County District Court against Derrick J. Fontenot and Alced Chaison, citing negligence.
According to the complaint, Colone was slowing to turn into his driveway Aug. 29, when his vehicle was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by Fontenot and owned by Chaison.
The defendants are accused of negligence and negligence per se.
Colone is seeking damages, interest, and costs of court.
He is being represented in the case by attorney Ryan C. Scott of The Scott Law Firm PLLC in Beaumont.
