Plaintiff Kappa Digital is a Texas limited liability company located in Allen.
Defendants are Globalstar Inc., Globalstar USA LLC and Spot LLC doing business as Spot Satellite Messenger LLC.
The suit accuses the defendants of infringing on U.S. Patent No. 6,349,135 issued Feb. 19, 2002, for a Method and System for a Wireless Digital Message Service.
Allegedly infringing products include the Spot Global Phone, Spot Connect, Global Sat-Fi products, Global GSP Satellite Phones and Global Data Modems.
Kappa Digital is seeking injunctive relief, compensatory and enhanced damages, costs, expenses, interest, attorneys’ fees and other relief to which it may be entitled. A jury trial is requested.

Plaintiff Thrasos is a Texas limited liability company with a principal place of business in Allen.
Visa is accused of infringing on:
U.S. Patent No. 7,644,037 issued Jan. 5, 2010, for a Method and System for Transferring Electronic Funds.
U.S. Patent No. 8,032,457 issued Oct. 4, 2011, for a Method and System for Transferring Electronic Funds.
Products allegedly infringing the ‘037 and ‘457 Patents include the Visa Bill Pay and Visa Checkout.
Thrasos is seeking a permanent injunction against the defendant, damages, costs, expenses, interest, enhanced damages, attorneys’ fees and other relief to which it may be entitled. A jury trial is demanded.

Plaintiff SFA Systems is a limited liability company located in Plano.
Defendants are accused of infringing on: U.S. Patent No. 6,067,525 issued May 23, 2000, for an Integrated Computerized Sales Force Automation System; and U.S. Patent No. 7,941,341 issued May 10, 2011, for a Sales Force Automation System and Method.
Defendants allegedly infringe the SFA Systems patents by making, using or selling computer implemented sales systems and methods for facility processes relating to the sale and provision of products and services including Web systems that have a recommendation feature.
SFA Systems is seeking compensatory damages no less than a reasonable royalty, interest, costs, expenses, attorneys’ fees and other relief deemed just and proper. A jury trial is requested.
