Equipment rental company wants customer to pay up

An equipment rental company is suing a repeat client who they claim would return equipment but never pay the bill.

Hometown Equipment LLC sued John Wilson, doing business as Timber Creek Construction, in Galveston County District Court on Aug. 2.

Court papers reveal that according to the plaintiff, Wilson repeatedly rented equipment from his company, between July 17, 2012, and Nov. 13, 2013, and although the defendant returned the equipment, he did not pay the full amount owed. As of July 15, that amount is $34,037.85.

Hometown Equipment LLC seeks a judgment for the money owed plus pre- and post-judgment interest as well as court costs.

Hometown Equipment LLC is represented by Gary Lee of Houston.
