J & B Fasteners sued over alleged breach of contract

Contract

A Jefferson County nut and bolt company is suing a Houston fasteners company after it allegedly didn't deliver on contracted materials.

Triangle Studs & Nuts LLC filed a complaint Sept. 18 in Jefferson County District Court against J & B Fasteners LP, alleging breach of contract.

In December 2014, the complaint states, Triangle contracted with J & B for materials for a construction project. Triangle paid a deposit of approximately $36,000 for the materials in January.

In May and June, J & B informed Triangle that it would not be able to provide the materials as contracted and in the time-frame required, prompting Triangle to inform J & B that it was canceling the order and requesting its deposit back. The complaint states as of the filing date of this suit, J & B has not returned Triangle's deposit.

Triangle seeks a judgment in excess of the minimum jurisdictional limits of this court, plus attorney fees and court costs.

Triangle is represented by Jeffrey T. Roebuck of Roebuck, Thomas, Roebuck & Adams in Beaumont.
