Brittney Cuney and Latisia Breaux filed a lawsuit in the Jefferson County District Court on Oct. 21, alleging that Corey Pinckney negligently operated his police vehicle.

The plaintiffs allege that while traveling in the right lane near the 1900 block of Magnolia on Nov. 21, 2013, they were forced off the road and into a light pole by Pinckney's police car. Both the driver and passenger were seriously injured as a result of the collision.
