An employee is suing a concrete coating company, alleging unpaid overtime.

Edwin Sanchez filed a lawsuit Nov. 10 in the Houston Division of the Eastern District of Texas against Maintenance Solutions and Phillip Andrews, alleging unpaid overtime wages in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

The suit states that while Sanchez worked for Maintenance Solutions as an installer, from October 2014 to January 2015 and from March 2015 to the present, he regularly worked more than 50 hours per week and was paid straight the same hourly rate for all hours worked.

The suit alleges Maintenance Solutions did not pay Sanchez an overtime premium for time worked more than 40 hours per week.

Sanchez seeks to recover unpaid overtime compensation, liquidated damages, court costs and attorney fees. He is represented by attorney Josef F. Buenker of Houston.

Houston Division of the Eastern District of Texas case number 4:15-cv-03302.
