Bohn's alleges Isle Development owes more than $86,000 for materials

Buildingmaterials

GALVESTON - A building materials company is suing a development business, alleging it has failed to pay the full amount it owes for materials.

Bohn's Building Materials filed a lawsuit Jan. 14 in Galveston County District Court against Isle Development and David Allan Hoover of Galveston, alleging breach of contract.

The complaint states in 2014, Bohn's began providing building materials to Isle Development. Bohn's subsequently invoiced Isle for these materials, the suit says, but Isle and Hoover have failed to pay the entire balance of all invoices, despite a demand for payment from Bohn's.

Bohn's seeks monetary relief of at least $86,782.36, plus penalties, costs, expenses, interest, and attorney fees. It is represented by attorneys Christopher L. Johnson and Julie M. Berkshire of Lyons & Plackemeier in Texas City.
