Shopper blames Target after slipping in store

Targetstore

GALVESTON - A Harris County woman is suing Target and one of its store managers, alleging negligence for injuries the woman says she sustained at a Target store.

Natasha Ann Esztergaylos filed a lawsuit Jan. 29 in Galveston County District Court against Target Stores and Kyle Jones, alleging negligence.

The suit states that Esztergaylos was walking through the deli section of the Super Target in Clear Lake Shores, a store managed by Jones, when she slipped and fell on a substance on the floor. The complaint states the defendants were negligent in failing to keep the premises reasonably safe and failing to warn of unsafe conditions.

As a result, the plaintiff says she suffered physical pain and mental anguish, impairment and disfigurement, loss of earnings and earning capacity, and has incurred medical expenses.

Esztergaylos seeks monetary damages of less than $100,000, including attorney fees, court costs and interests. She is represented by attorney John C. Grazier of Grazier & Associates in Houston.
