KMS Freight driver accused of negligence in accident

GALVESTON — A driver who was injured in an accident is suing a freightliner company and one of its drivers, alleging negligence. 

Darren Amick filed a complaint on March 1 in the Galveston Division of the Southern District of Texas against KMS Freight Corp. and driver Carlos Delgado, alleging that Delgado knowingly violated Texas traffic laws by speeding and not keeping a proper lookout.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he suffered multiple injuries when a freightliner driven by Delgado collided with his vehicle on June 11, 2015 in Houston. 

Amick seeks compensation for all past and future damages. He is represented by John W. Stevenson, Jr. of Stevenson & Murray in Houston; and Heriberto Ramos of Heriberto Ramos & Associates, also in Houston.
