GALVESTON — A Galveston County roofing company is suing an apartment and a real estate group, alleging breach of contract.

Acadian Roofing LLC filed a lawsuit March 8 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Tradewind Apartments LLC and  E2 Real Estate Group II, alleging breach of contract, failure to pay for completed work and unpaid debt.

According to the complaint, Acadian Roofing finished roofing work on a project for the defendants in March 2015 but was not paid. The suit says Tradewind Apartments E2 Real Estate Group II has failed to pay despite multiple attempts by the plaintiff to collect.

Acadian Roofing seeks a jury trial, compensation for actual damages of $9,800, including interest, attorney fees and costs of court, and further relief as this court deems just. It is represented by attorneys Karalynn Cromeens and Nicole B. Killgore of The Cromeens Law Firm PLLC in Houston.
