HOUSTON – A woman alleges she was sold a defective RV.

Jeannette Schafer Austin filed a complaint on Dec. 29 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas against DS Corp., doing business as Crossroads RV, Explore USA RV LTD, and Bank of America National Association, citing alleged breach of implied warranty, negligence, breach of contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she bought a RV in January 2015 that was found to be defective. The suit states the defects include the roof and broken wall studs. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because she has taken the RV in for repairs numerous times and the defects allegedly are still present.

The plaintiff seeks the following: compensation for all damages, full refund for the total purchase price of the unit, interest, and any other relief as this court deems just and proper. She is represented by Richard C. Dalton in Mandeville, Louisiana.
