Former employee accuses Irving business of fraud, wrongful termination

HOUSTON — A former employee is suing an Irving business, alleging fraud and wrongful termination.

Jerry Bullock filed a lawsuit Dec. 16 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Fluor Enterprises Inc. and Fluor Corporation of Irving, alleging the defendants unlawfully retaliated against their employee.

According to the complaint, Bullock was terminated for refusing to engage in a fraudulent act instructed by Fluor. The suit says the defendant instructed the plaintiff to charge the Worley Parsons Joint Venture for work performed that is not related to the project, and when Bullock refused and voiced his opinion about the fraudulent act he was relieved of his position.

Bullock seeks a jury trial, compensation for all damages, including back pay, bonuses, commissions and other benefits, plus interest, all legal fees and any other relief the court deems proper.
