GALVESTON -- A Brazos County woman is suing a Texas City couple, alleging their negligence caused her child to suffer injuries.

Jana Marie Hill, individually and as next of kind for K.H., a minor, filed a lawsuit March 22 in Galveston County District Court against home owners Jason Delgado and Rachel Delgado, alleging negligence in failure to monitor a zip line resulted in injuries to her daughter.

According to the complaint, on March 6, the child sustained bodily injuries while riding a zip line at the defendants' Texas City home. The plaintiff alleges the defendants neglected their duties by failing to provide safety equipment to each person who rides their zip line.

Hill seeks compensation for all damages, interest, medical expenses, monetary relief between $200,000 and $1 million, all legal fees and any other relief the court deems proper. She is represented by attorney Fernando Valdes of Valdes Law Firm in League City.
