LUFKIN – A Nacogdoches driver alleges he was injured in an accident with a tractor-trailer.
Charles Allen Lee filed a complaint on March 31 in the Lufkin Division of the Eastern District of Texas against Con-Way Inc. and Matthew Arthur Amos, citing negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 17, 2015, he suffered injuries and damages to his vehicle when he collided with tractor-trailer driven by Amos and owned by Con-Way on state Highway 7 in Houston County. The plaintiff holds Con-Way Inc. and Amos responsible because Amos allegedly failed to operate his vehicle at a safe rate of speed, failed to keep his vehicle out of the path of the plaintiff, failed to take proper evasive action to avoid the collision and other counts.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury, judgment against the defendant plus interest at the highest legal rate, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. He is represented by John F. (Jack) Walker III Martin Walker PC in Tyler and Christopher C. Hughes in Nacogdoches.
