MARSHALL – A Harrison County couple is suing a truck driver and his employer alleging they were injured in an accident.
Sheri Israel and Kenneth Israel filed a complaint on March 31 in the Marshall Division of the Eastern District of Texas against Tracy D. Billingsley and LSK Enterprises Inc. alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Aug. 7, 2014, they suffered injuries when Billingsley hit the back of their car driving a tractor-trailer owned by LSK while traveling on Interstate 20. The plaintiffs hold Billingsley and LSK Enterprises Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to control his vehicle, causing injuries to both plaintiffs.
The plaintiffs seek a trial by jury, actual damages plus interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. They are represented by Douglas C. Monsour and Benton G. Ross of The Monsour Law Firm in Longview.
