GALVESTON – A Comal County couple has filed suit against a Dallas County man alleging he damaged their Galveston vacation condominium through faulty repairs.

Kenneth and Edwina Baker filed a complaint on March 31 in the Galveston Division of the Southern District of Texas against George H. Brown, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Feb. 21, they suffered monetary damages as a result of damages caused to their condominium unit by the defendant. The plaintiffs hold Brown responsible because the defendant allegedly altered the plumbing in his unit, causing water to enter plaintiffs' unit and resulting in damages to the unit's ceiling and walls.

The plaintiffs seek a trial by jury, damages of $7,000, interest, legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. They are represented by Andrea C. Peel of Baker & Patterson LLP in Houston.
