Galveston County business alleges customer failed to pay for tile work

GALVESTON -- A Galveston County business is suing a Galveston man, alleging he failed to pay nearly $10,000 for completed work.

Professional Ceramic Tile, Inc filed a lawsuit March 25, in Galveston County District Court against Archie L. Hart, alleging he failed to pay the plaintiff for work done on his house.

According to the complaint, in April 2015, Professional Ceramic sustained monetary damages of $9,876.73 when it did not receive payment for its work. The plaintiff alleges Hart responsible failed to pay as promised for replacing old tiles on his house in Galveston.

Professional Ceramic Tile seeks the $9,876.73 due on the account, monetary relief of $100,000, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the deems just. It is represented by attorneys Kevin Adley and Gilbert Garza of Adley Law Firm LTD LLP in Houston.
