Contract 09

GALVESTON  — A Galveston County man is suing a Houston businessman, alleging failure to repay a loan.

E.E. Miller of Texas City filed a lawsuit April 20 in Galveston County District Court against David S. O'Dell of Houston, alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, on April 20, 2013, Miller agreed to loan O'Dell $25,000. The plaintiff alleges O'Dell has failed and refused to pay the total loan amount owed to Miller, which breaches their contractual agreement. The plaintiff says he has made several attempts to collect the money without success.

Miller seeks a trial by jury, damages of $25,000, all legal fees and any other relief the court deems just. He is represented by attorney Carlos Garza of Martin, Garza & Fisher LLP in Galveston.
