TYLER – A former operator for a Longview company has filed a class-action lawsuit seeking allegedly unpaid overtime wages.

Logan Rechterman filed a complaint on behalf of all others similarly situated on April 27 in the Tyler Division of the Eastern District of Texas against XPAT Xtreme Pump & Testing LLC citing violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between February 2014 and November 2014, he worked for more than 40 hours per work week but was not paid any overtime wages. The plaintiff holds XPAT Xtreme Pump & Testing LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay their employees overtime wages as defined by the FLSA.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks all unpaid overtime wages, liquidated damages, all legal fees, interest and any other relief as this court deems just. He is represented by Neely Balko of Phipps Anderson Deacon LLP in Corpus Christi.
