GALVESTON — An Oklahoma corporation is suing a Friendswood energy company, alleging an unpaid debt of more than $100,000.
Anchor Drilling Fluids USA Inc. of Tulsa, filed a lawsuit April 28 in the Galveston County District Court against Vistar Oil Texas LLC, alleging failure to pay for completed work and for products delivered.
According to the complaint, starting in 2013 Anchor Drilling suffered damages to its business as a result of unpaid invoices by Vistar Oil. The plaintiff alleges the defendant failed to pay for goods and services despite the plaintiff demanding payment of $101,065.27.
Anchor Drilling Fluids seeks the $101,065.27 plus interest for a total of $123,765.27, plus all legal fees and any other relief the court deems just. They are represented by attorney Kelsey McDowell Machado of Hicks Thomas LLP in Houston.
