Nicholas Alan Brown filed a complaint May 16 in Galveston County District Court against Greenlight Contracting, James Mallory Reynolds and Lyssa Graham Reynolds, alleging negligence in failing to provide adequate safety equipment and conditions for employees.

According to the complaint, on July 14, 2014, Brown suffered nerve damage in his right arm when another employee dropped a mud knifes on the plaintiff's right hand. The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to exercise safety for all their employees or warn the plaintiff, who was performing his duties under unsafe conditions.
