HOUSTON — A financing company is suing a Texas car dealership, alleging it owes more than $40,000 due to breach of contract.

World Global Financing Inc. filed a lawsuit June 27 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Showroom Auto Sales, Inc. and Jann Wiley, alleging breach of contract and unjust enrichment in breaching their merchant sales agreement.

According to the complaint, World Global has incurred actual damages for not receiving full payment of the amount the defendant owed under the agreement of Jan. 13, 2015. The plaintiff alleges Showroom Auto Sales and Wiley failed to make payments due under the first agreement in an unpaid balance of $40,042, and under the second agreement in an unpaid balance of $43,670, since April 1, 2016.

World Global Financing seeks a trial by jury, judgment for all damages incurred, reasonable attorney fees and costs, pre-judgment and post-judgment interest and for such other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by attorney Lionel Martin of Garcia-Martin & Martin PC in Sugar Land.
