Cable company alleges service provider breached contract

HOUSTON — A cable company is suing a service provider, alleging breach of contract.

ETS Cablevision Co. Inc. filed a lawsuit July 25 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Integrated Broadband Services LLC, breach of duty under the services agreement.

According to the complaint, ETS Cablevision will suffer irreparable injury, including incalculable loss of ongoing customer base, market share, goodwill and business reputation and its customers would be harmed, including the loss of 911 services, home monitoring services, and Internet services because the defendant attempted to collect payment for services not provided and intended to terminate all services if it did not receive payments from the plaintiff of $220,979.39.

ETS Cablevision seeks a trial by jury, a temporary restraining order, preliminary injunction, and permanent injunction against the defendant's termination of services and for any other equitable remedies to which it is entitled. It is represented by attorney Steven P. Tepera of Reed & Scardino LLP in Austin.
