Rotating equipment business alleges subcontractor owes $520,000

HOUSTON — A New York state rotating equipment supplier is suing a Houston subcontractor-supplier, alleging the defendant owes $520,000, 

Dresser-Rand Global Services Inc. of Olean, New York, filed a lawsuit Aug. 5 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Quest-Tec Solutions Inc, also known as Daniel Level Solutions Inc., alleging failure to to comply with the terms of their agreement.

According to the complaint, Dresser-Rand entered into a negotiation in which Quest-Tec agreed to reimburse $125,000 for the failure of the defendant's equipment, notably its gauges. The suit says the plaintiff has spent approximately $95,000 to install proper gauges and has sustained impact damages of approximately $300,000 that resulted from the failure of the equipment. 

The plaintiff alleges the defendant failed to provide proper gauges and has not made payments pursuant to the agreement.

Dresser-Rand Global Services seeks trial by jury, all damages for $520,000, plus attorney fees, pre and post-judgment interest, court costs and all other relief to which it is entitled. It is represented by attorney Allison J. Snyder of Porter Hedges LLP in Houston.
