By Philip Gonzales | Sep 3, 2016

BEAUMONT – A Tarrant County company alleges it was not paid for work on a Jefferson County project.

Ready Cable Inc. filed a complaint on Aug. 8 in the Jefferson County District Court against Icon Builders LLC and Great American Insurance Co. alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it was contracted to provide concrete reinforcement materials for the Park Central project. It alleges it performed its contractual obligations but was not paid for its services in the amount of $58,643.69. The plaintiff holds Icon Builders LLC and Great American Insurance Co. responsible because despite proper demands for payment, defendants allegedly failed and refused to pay their obligations.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants for monetary relief of $100,000 or less. It is represented by C.D. Peebles of The Peebles Law Firm in Southlake.
