Houston landlord alleges tenant failed to honor lease

HOUSTON — A landlord is suing a tenant alleging, breach of contract. 

Welltower Inc. filed a lawsuit Aug. 19 in Harris County District Court against Dr. Pulin K. Pandya PA and Pulin K. Pandya, individually, alleging failure to comply with the lease and guarantee agreement.

According to the complaint, Welltower has suffered monetary losses for not collecting the lease amount of $25,679.77 and the guaranteed amount of $47,600 for space at 1900 North Loop West, Suite 580 in Houston. It has also incurred and will continue to incur attorney fees and legal expenses, the suit says.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants continue to be in default as of the filing of this complaint.

Welltower seeks trial by jury, monetary relief between $200,000 and $1 million, pre-judgment interest, attorney fees, court costs and all other relief. It is represented by attorney James W. Jennings III of San Antonio.
