League City business alleges Pasadena couple owes $45,000

GALVESTON — A League City business is suing a Pasadena husband and wife, alleging conversion and theft of property totaling more than $45,000.

Pro-Surve Technical Services LLC filed a lawsuit Sept. 8 in Galveston County District Court against George David Willis and Cheryl Ann Willis, alleging violation of the Texas Theft Liability Act.

According to the complaint, when George Willis worked for Pro-Surve he took without authority or authorization funds from the plaintiff's bank account. The suit says his theft caused the plaintiff to be damaged in an amount not less than $45,336.39. 

The plaintiff alleges George Willis wrongfully obtained and took possession of the proceeds of the checks from the plaintiff's customers.

Pro-Surve Technical Services seeks trial by jury, actual damages not less than $45,336.39, plus consequential and exemplary damages, attorney fees, costs of court and all other relief to which it is entitled. It is represented by attorney Kyle L. Dickson of Murray | Lobb, PLLC in Houston.
