HOUSTON — A Harris County man is suing a Houston home construction firm, alleging the defendant's negligence led to injuries for the plaintiff.
Adam Lemaster filed a lawsuit Sept. 23 in Harris County District Court against Lennar Homes of Texas Land and Construction Ltd., alleging failure to make the premises reasonably safe.
According to the complaint, on Sept. 19, Lemaster, a delivery driver, was injured when the scaffolding of a home Lennar Homes was building in New Caney suddenly collapsed, burying him under the bricks and pieces of scaffolding. The suit says the incident caused Lemaster to sustain severe and permanent injuries.
The plaintiff alleges the defendant negligently used unsafe construction and scaffolding methods, failed to use proper materials and failed to inspect the scaffolding prior to use.
Lemaster seeks trial by jury, judgment for all damages, pre- and post-judgment interest, court costs, attorney fees and all other relief. He is represented by attorneys C. Chad Pinkerton and Joshua R. Hilbe of The Pinkerton Law Firm PLLC in Houston.
