GALVESTON — A Texas transport service provider is suing a chemical company, alleging it owes more than $92,000 for breach of contract.
Quality Carriers Energy Resources filed a lawsuit Oct. 12 in Galveston County District Court against Csquared Chemicals, Inc. alleging failure to comply with contractual obligations.
According to the complaint, Quality Carriers entered into a contract with Csquared Chemicals for the transportation of hydrochloric acid. The suit says the plaintiff has suffered monetary damages for not receiving payment for the balance of $92,090.
Quality Carriers Energy Resources seeks trial by jury, monetary damages of up to $100,000, judgment for $92,090, plus attorneys fees of $20,000, interest, costs of suit, and all other relief. It is represented by attorneys Ronald L. Bair and Dominick Garza of BairHilty PC in Houston.
