Houston Premium Outlets shopper alleges she was injured in fall

Slip01

HOUSTON – A Washington County woman alleges she slipped on liquid while shopping at a Cypress business and fell.

Linda Fisher filed a complaint on Nov. 12 in Harris County District Court against SPG Houston Holdings LP, Simon Property Group (Texas) LP and Houston Premium Outlets alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Aug. 17, while walking at defendants' Houston Premium Outlets, she slipped and fell due to the unreasonable condition of the floor. As a result of her accident, she claims she suffered injuries, pain and suffering and medical expenses. The plaintiff holds SPG Houston Holdings LP, Simon Property Group (Texas) LP and Houston Premium Outlets responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to repair, correct and make safe the walking surface, failed to adequately warn her of the dangerous condition and failed to properly manage the premises.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants in an amount of no less than $200,000 but not more than $1 million, costs of court and pre- and post-judgment interest. She is represented by Scot G. Dollinger of Dollinger Law Firm in Houston.
