HOUSTON — A Fort Bend County woman is suing the owners of a Houston grocery, alleging their negligence led to the plaintiff suffering injuries.

According to the complaint, on Nov. 1, 2016, Nangcas was walking through defendants' parking lot at 11498 Bellaire Blvd., Houston, when she slipped and fell due to a slippery metal surface. The suit says the fall caused her to suffer injuries and damages to her body, mental anguish and lost wages and led to medical expenses.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to warn her of a dangerous condition and failed to make and maintain the parking lot in a safe condition.

Nangcas seeks trial by jury, all damages, pre- and post-judgment interest, costs of court and all other just relief. She is represented by attorneys Sam Mukerji and Johnathan D. Silva of Mukerji Law Firm PC in Houston.
