MARSHALL — A Louisiana mother and her son are suing tractor trailer operators, alleging their negligence led to a crash that injured the plaintiffs.
Lakesia Carey of Ruston, Louisiana, individually and on behalf of TW, a minor, filed a lawsuit Jan. 4 in the Marshall Division of the Eastern District of Texas against Brandon M. Barnhill and Southeast Logistics LLC, alleging Southeast Logistics negligently entrusted its vehicle to a careless driver.
According to the complaint, on July 4, 2015, Carey was carefully operating a motor vehicle with her minor child, TW, traveling eastbound on Interstate Highway 20.
