HOUSTON — A Houston man is suing a billiards parlor, alleging the defendants' negligence led to the plaintiff being injured in a fight.

Trivaughn Treadwell filed a complaint March 13 in Harris County District Court against KFGF Enterprises Inc., doing business as Carrington's Billiard, George Alexandris and Demetrios Tsakalakis, alleging they breached their duty to provide a safe environment for their patrons.

According to the complaint, on April 28, 2015, Treadwell was a lawful patron at Carrington's Billiard when a violent altercation started and an unknown individual hit the plaintiff in the face with a glass bottle.

The suit says Treadwell suffered physical and mental pain, loss of earnings and medical expenses. The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to take reasonable steps to prevent the altercation that caused the plaintiff his injury and failed to provide adequate and necessary security.

Treadwell seeks trial by jury, monetary relief of $1 million, interest, costs of court and all other relief. He is represented by attorneys Troy J. Pradia and Shasta P.C. Blanton of The Cox Pradia Law Firm PLLC in Houston.
