Woman claims she was injured in fall at HH & Bar Investments

Slip02

HOUSTON – A Tarrant County woman alleges she fell and was injured at a Houston property because water was left on the floor.

Margie Janice McConathy filed a complaint on May 2 in the Harris County District Court against HH & Bar Investments Inc. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 16, 2015, she was injured on defendant's property when she slipped and fell on water that was on the floor for a certain period of time. Plaintiff alleges she sustained injuries that caused her to suffer pain and suffering, mental anguish and incurred medical care expenses.

The plaintiff holds HH & Bar Investments Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to inspect its premises and make it safe and failed to warn plaintiff of the existence of a dangerous condition.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but not more than $1 million and such other lawful and equitable relief. She is represented by George K. Farah of Guerra & Farah PLLC in Houston.
