Customer blames McDonald's for injuries

GALVESTON — A customer is suing McDonalds, alleging its negligence caused her to suffer injuries. 

Julie Feigle filed a complaint April 18 in Galveston County District Court against McDonalds Corporation and Robert Flores, doing business as McDonalds 31251 in League City, alleging failure to to keep the premises of its store relatively safe.

According to the complaint, on March 20. 2016, Feigle was injured while when she fell due to water accumulation on the floor of the McDonalds at a Walmart store in League City due to a broken pipe. The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to fix the pipe or put up warning signs, leading to injuries to Feigle's head, arm and neck.

Feigle seeks trial by jury, damages up to $100,000, costs of court, and all other just relief. She is represented by attorney John C. Grazier of Grazier Law Firm in Webster.
