HOUSTON — A Houston man is suing CVS Pharmacy, alleging negligence caused him to fall off a chair.

Denzel Davis filed a complaint April 21 in Harris County District Court against CVS Pharmacy Inc. and Amanda Beyer, alleging they failed to maintain the premises safe for its invitees.

According to the complaint, Davis suffered injuries and damages when he fell from a defective chair at the CVS store on Bay Area Boulevard, Houston, under the control of Beyer.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to properly maintain, repair or replace the defective chair and failed to warn Davis of the defective condition of the subject chair.

Davis seeks trial by jury, monetary relief between $200,000 and $1 million and all other just relief. He is represented by attorney John C. Grazier of Grazier & Associates in Webster.
