HOUSTON — A Houston woman is suing pool contractors, alleging breach of contract.
Nicole James Petrelli filed a complaint May 8 in Harris County District Court against Passion Pools LLC, Roger Guy Russel Jr. and Robert Campbell, alleging violation of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act.
According to the complaint, on July 17, 2016, Petrelli entered into a contract with the defendants to construct a pool at her property at 1331 Sue Barnett Drive, Houston. After Petrelli paid $63,47.35, the suit says, the defendants abandoned the job site and refused to complete the project after only doing about $34,000 worth of work.
Petrelli seeks trial by jury and seeks monetary relief between $100,000 and $300,000 and all other appropriate relief. She is represented by attorneys Spencer Edwards, Nicole James Petrelli and Eric C. Baumann of The Hudgins Law Firm in Houston.
